We Are The Champions [AKA] my friends

Some more history on yesterday's book/poem: Our friends Katie and Peter had Katie's bestlady/maid of honor read it (unabridged) at their wedding. I'm afraid they think we stole it from them.... Whoops! We didn't mean to! I suppose I could have said something, but I honestly didn't think of it until afterward. We also apparently also stole their first dance (Queen's We Are the Champions), I didn't know that until Peter said something to me on our wedding day! I missed their first dance because I was still eating dinner and was seated in a different room. Oh well. I'm sorry I didn't warn you that I hijacked some of your cool wedding ideas, I guess you should be flattered? Or, be glad you have such like-minded friends, or something? Anyway, I'm so sorry I didn't say anything! I suck.

Our friends rock.

At their wedding, I made a drunken toast trying to read this comic aloud:

Thank you, Katie, for giving an equally amusing, though much more sober (looking/sounding), toast at our wedding, and letting me dance with your husband!

Also, thank you SO much for setting up the pizza party at Hillel the afternoon before the wedding. It was so nice to have some downtime and just kickback with a beer and talk about nothing for a while. I hope we drank enough to make it worth your while to haul your delicious home-brew across town for me. Mmmmm, now I'm craving pizza and beer!
