The Wedding Suit

Ben needs a suit. He is going to his cousin's Bat Mitzvah in 2 weeks, outside of NYC, where he will be expected to wear one. Since none of the suits in his closet are seasonable or the right kind of thing to wear, he's going shopping tomorrow either with a family friend of mine or with an older friend of ours. It would be good for him to go with someone who knows how a good suit should fit and isn't trying to sell him anything.

The good news is, my dad suggested he look at the suits that Joseph A. Banks carries and they appear to be having a huge Father's Day sale. Oh, and they have some awesome sounding new suiting line: Stays Cool. The lining was developed by NASA!

I know.... I sound like an advertisement, but seriously, who wouldn't want their clothes designed by NASA. Granted, they did invent velcro and that's not the most fashionable accessory, but it is VERY useful. Think of all the kids shoe laces that would have had to have been tied by adults before velcro shoes were invented! I didn't lear how to tie my own laces until I got glasses in the second grade. Probably because I couldn't SEE the laces before then. Oops.

CORRECTION: NASA did NOT invent Velcro! George de Mestral, a Swiss inventor figured out the hooks and loops that make up Velcro. Well, thanks Mr. de Mestral! I'm sorry that NASA seems to have inadvertently taken ownership of your invention.
