um, I -really- like this dress. It is $1650 (about 1.5 months rent and 1/20 of our total budget) , and will be on sale in November for somewhere between 10 and 20% off. Me likey...... especially once it is ordered in a larger size and tailored to fit. The picture below is of me zipped up to my bra and then held in with a piece of cloth and some big pincer clips because my boobs were way too big for the dress. Why are they all in juniors sizing? Are brides supposed to be flat chested?
The picture is of me twirling "like Fiona" with Hannah, Becca's niece.
I kinda liked the whole ensemble, the short veil, the small tiara/headband thing.... crap, I'm turning girly!
PS- I promise not to be bridezilla. That's why I'm planning NOW, and not right before the wedding.
2/4/10 update: it is now available (for an extra $200) to be ordered for my measurements, i.e. with D instead of A/B cups. SWEET! And it's on sale right now.... I think I'm going to order it tomorrow, but I'm going to also look at Anna-Bé also. Crap. I hate making big money decisions.

ReplyDeleteOMG OMG OMG SO CUTE i love the tulle at the bottom.
I seriously considered a tea length dress because my ultimate love dress was this one (which did cost many times my rent), coincidentally ALSO priscilla of boston!!:

but in the end I went for this one, which has kind of a similar top to the one I loved. i had an alterations lady take off the train so it's floor length all the way around.

I already had my final fitting and I'm pretty happy with how it looks. still very worried about my non-michelle-obamaesque arms, but whatevs.
Loving the style of the dress above, but the link for the one that you actually bought doesn't load with pictures or any style info so I can search for it...
